Is there only one pair of these? My party is self created (all six). Do I have to do the Planar Sphere to get 'em? If you haven't guessed already, I want Crom Faeyr.

Kill Valygar and take his body to open the sphere, that way you dont have to let one of your created guys leave.

I don't need them for the strength. I have my fighter maxed out in hammer in hopes of attaining Crom Faeyr. Damn, that would suck.

As long as I bring the body and the equipment back, my party can do the quest and attain the gauntlets (and all of the other goodies)? Should I go talk to the guy at the Coweled Wizzards first? Thanks for all the help,

do NOT talk to tolgerias. i f u do, you wont get into the planar sphere.

Yes, you have to talk to Tolgerias first to trigger the quest. But I wouldn't recommend killing Valygar to enter the Sphere - you'll gain MUCH more experience if you add him to your party and do his bidding. The item Tolgerias promises you for Valygar's body will be obtained anyway (through a fight, though!) And if you don't like Valygar, just dump him somewhere after the quest.
