I want to have a well-balanced good aligned party. Who should I have?
In the party I must have: Me (Fighter), Aerie (love interest), Yoshi/Imoen (thieving abilities),Minsc (how can you play the game w/o a tank like Misc and Boo???).

I willing to add Keldorn, Mazzy, or Anomen.

Who should my party consist of? Thanks.

I would have added Keldorn and Haer'Dalis. But if I should have chosen some from the list, it would have been Keldorn and Mazzy.

What about Valygar? He is quite a handy good aligned character, especially if your only theif is Imoen. However if choosing from the list I would go with Mazzy (a very underated character in my opinion) and Anomen (you need some more offensive spells and he has a few good ones at high levels).

I wouldn't include Imoen, once u get her back you've completed a good chunk of the game and she's way behind in lvl and she's not very helpful. She turns into a 5th wheel basically, u want someone whose with u from beginning to end. Keldorn is a MUST HAVE cause he gets best weapon in game, is a nice class, and is best candidate to use the "dex to 18 amulet" cuz he starts out with 9 dex. with the +5 sword and dex to 18 amulet he is awesome.

Yeah, mazzy is the most underrated character in SoA. Valygar might be up there too.

I agree with you, Mazzy is one of the most underrated NPCs in the game. I really don't understand that - her only weakness, if it can be considered, is her strenght score - just 15. Not a reason to worry since she has the Strenght spell as her special ability and fighter potions are easily available in the game. She hits almost everything with Tansheron's Bow and with Gesen's Bow later. Plus she is loyal, cheerful and doesn't whine like many other NPCs.
