U will see Xzar at the docks after u give Rylock the poisoned man. Xzar will have a quest for u. But he will not join ur party.

How to find Edwin: (SPOILER)

Go to the Docks District.

Go to the large northwestern building which is the Thieves' guild.

Talk to Renal Bloodscalp.

Accept Renal's quest.

Go to Mae'Var

Talk to Mae'Var

Accept Mar'Var's quest.

Finish Mae'Var's quest and you will meet Edwin.

Don't forget Neb the child killer too...

That reminds me, I just slaughter Neb, and read the stuff about him in Baldurs Gate city, I dont remember him form BG1...... I'm not doupting hes in there, I just never herd/saw him.
