Make an all good/neutral party, use the lvl 3 priest spell which does 1-4 dmg per lvl and only harms evil, 90 percent of hostile monsters u fight in game are evil so this is like a fireball that only gets more and more powerful with lvl that all your characters are immune to.

What do u think? http://www.ironworksforum.com/ubb/no...es/biggrin.gif

Some monsters have magic resistance.

This only works for the weaker enemies. In chapter 4-5-6-7 it becomes useless. However, even all-evil parties can use the unholy blight instead of the holy smite to the same effect.

I have to disagree with you there Mitsos. I used it
throughout the game. Near the end, you can do pretty decent
damage. Usually around 20-25 damage. Granted, it's not that
much, but everyone taking damage is great. I'd usually
cast it right off and then wait and let the fighters pound
away. A few rounds later, fire it off again and a lot of
the baddies are toast.

i used this a lot until i got Storm of Vengeance, which is fast becoming my favorite area-effect spell. (its a ToB Quest Level Spell)

Not true, all of the major areas u fight through are mostly evil, and very, very few things u fight r good, unless u go on a killing spree, lower your reputation to 0 and make the game impossible to play. Unholy blight only works on good people. There r virtually no quests that involve killing good people in game so its useless.

List of all evil areas which u want to complete:
Shade lord dungeon
Firkraag dungeon(few golems exception)
unseeing eye dungeon
Planar sphere(lots of golems, also plenty of evil)
All of underdark except for a few guys who u dont even want to kill
All of the vampires and undead
Pretty much all shadow thieves, slavers, and the like

List of all good guys u face in game:
??????

Send back a reply if u can name some http://www.ironworksforum.com/ubb/no...iles/smile.gif

Holy smite can be useful through ToB also as it gets more powerful with lvl, if your lvl 25 it'll do 25 to 100 dmg, save vs spell for half
