After killing Bhodi I take the lathorn and the heart and head back to Elhan and the elves. As soon as I get there they tell me I betrayed a friend and start attacking. Also back in bhodi's graveyard dungeon ( or whatever) as I am about to leave someone ( apparently one of the allies I asked to help) says I have turned on him and started attacking. Only I didn't. Obviously I can't get any farther than this. I have replayed it several times and the same thing happens.

That happened to me too. i thik that only way to sort it out would be to go back to save before entering the tombs. I believe the problem comes from the fact that if you have the paladins as allies, one of them has sword which spurts out random fireballs when it hits a enemy, these fireballs hurt the other paladins who think that you're trying to kill them and leave. That could explain your troubles later on, I never went that far, I just kept reloading until that sword didn't get anyone with a fireball.
If you don't have a save before going to the crypts then I'm afraid that I don't have a clue what you can do.

Thanks. I'll go back. I have re -done it three times . I am considering going back and not asking anyone for help. I hope I don't have to go back toto far. I would lkike to someday finish this game.

Do the mop up yourself, mewp, it's doalbe. Since you came back form underdark, go check out, Ribald's, new special gear for purchase, he has the helm of brilliance wich can cast sunray to help you toast those vampies. If memory serves, it has a faster casting time than the actual spell so just have on of your fighters protected from energy drain, charge the lot of vamps and then place another npc close to the fray and cast the spell, works great. If you have the spell aslo have 2 ppl come up from behind and cast them, major bad day for the undead.

And do not forget to let your cleric turn undead. Many people forget about this little feature. Watch those vampires explode with little or no other damage done.

check out the patches at baldurdash. there's one that keeps that sword from going off. or just don't recruit from the order; he's nothing but fodder anyway.

When I get to Elhan, the harpers keep killing me. I did the harper quest and naturally they are pissed off. Unfortunately I can't remember when I did that particular quest. I made it through the Bhodi dungeon without being labled a traitor but still got killed by Elhan and the harpers. I think that must be who he is talking about. But since I can't go any farther I am afraid I will have to go back to chapter two. Did anyone else do the harpers quest and get this reaction?

It gets fixed by the patch on Baldurash so just download it.
Also, my cavelier uses Daystar and the helmet of Brilliance.
