Where do you hear about it? I mean, who tells you to open the door with the rogue stone? If I hadn't read it in a walkthrough I wouldn't know its existence.
So, how do you find out ?

They're talking about a door in the bridge district which can only be entered if you have a Rogue Stone and inside you find a pretty tough battle and a nice reward.

well, where do u normally get big expensive gems. from big hard monster of course. so go kill some.

the door _was_ orignally part of a quest but it got canned.

yeah, i don't think that there's any point in the game where you are openly told about the Twisted Rune and the means of entering it....it's one of those hidden, blind-luck kind of things
