Where do I find the blade portion of the magical halberd "Wave"?

You can find the blade in the sahuagin city. You must kill the rebelprince, or pickpocket it from him.

You have to take the ride with your buddy Saemon. It's in the
possession of the Sahuagin Prince.

Considering that I took the Underdark route instead... is there any way to get to that area?

Anyway, this halberd isn't that good. You can make do without so as not to resort to cheating. If you ever play the game again(which I would recommend with many different characters), follow Saemon.

I did the "right thing" and never thought of whacking the Prince. Picking his pockets didn`t even enter my mind...

Isn't that kind of bad...to put such an important artifact part on a creature that strikes you as "nice"?

It`s ike the riddle in the sewers where you have to kill the hermit`s only buddy (the carrion crawler) to get his blood. I actually felt a little bad about that and I doubt that any good characters would have gone along with it.
