k so after you kill all the little beasties in the pit fights, in the tavern, you can ask to fight the master of the pit. he declines and then goes off to find a more worthy opponent for you, does he??
i can't seem to remember how to get in the lich's tower who do i need to talk to??and does that get me into the Jerlaxle(sp?) house??
last question, if i get the dragon her eggs can i still come back and kill everyone in the city, and is it very hard to do so

It's all time-based...sooner or later some chap will try to sell you a magic rope. That's when it all begins.

Talk to the guy north of the Lich tower and he will give you the rope. The guy at the bar finds you a real biatch to fight, who really isnt that hard. I seem to remember the beasty was a deamon.
