monks cant use magic can they???

if im about to be severly cut down be gentle!!

but if they cant.. then doesnt that mean you cant use your special abilities?

"Though monks cannot cast spells, they have a unique magic of their own. They channel a subtle energy called ki, which allows them to perform amazing feats. The monk's best known feat is to stun their opponent with an unarmed blow".

I think this explains everything.

yea so they've got ki

but isnt ur special abilities a type of magic and if im not mistakin a monks ki is an extension of their will only coming form a touch usually the hands i think

so if ur a monk can u use your special abilities like slow poison strength of one etc

whenit says cant use magic it means they cant use mage spells by spell memorisation from a book like a mge, or instinct like a sorceror. also they cant use priest spells from a god like a cleric or a druid.

just like a fighter in fact. so yes, you can use innates.

i have done it.
