I kicked Ameron out just after he had cast spirt hammer
and when i came and picked him back up.... He still had it!
NOW i cant get rid of it!

well, that is your best bet. kill the haughty prick, and then just have him raised or resurrected. if that happens to fail, you may wanna think about using Shadowkeeper to try and edit the spiritual hammer off of his weapon slot or something like that.
