Some time ago, a boardie asked whether anything will happen if you still take the acorns to Windspear Hills after killing the three Dyrads.

Well, the answer is yes, something will happen, the Queen will lament their deaths by your hands and attacks you, aided by two Syrens( Sirens) and a couple of bears.

Where do I find this queen?? I also killed the Dryads but never found the queen. I assumed she didn't appear because the Dryads were dead and therefore the quest was over.
I look forward to feeding her an acorn shishkabob with my sword, heh heh.

You find the queen in windspear hills in the lower right corner. Jeez I never thought of killing them how evil.
