I have just tried this item for the first time and instantly
fell in love. Any class (I believe) can use it to cast
Simulacrum once per day. I can run around and hack and
slash with two beserkers wielding Celestial Fury...it shouldn't

i know! i had my Fighter/mage use this, then we would wack up on the Cowled Wizards! also sometimes i would cast Simalcrum, then have that simalcrum use the helmet to bring another one in!

No, what Sephiroth said was he cast Simulicrum (spell) and
used the 1st clone to cast simulicrum off the helm. Then
when his member used the helm it brings a total of 2 clones
and 1 party member. If you try to use the helm to gain a
clone from a clone that you created with the helm, it won't
work because the item is already drained.
Put all of your summoning devices with the person using the
helm and then you can get more critters.

Where is this helm, anyway?

You buy it from Deidre in the Adventure's Mart. She is
one of two bonus merchants from the Collectors Edition.

You get her to if you download the latest patch if im right.
