I like the assassin kit. You want pretty high all stats, but intell and chr are the least important, also theres a fast quest to get a ring that brings your chr to 18 right in th promonade...... put your stars in whatever weapon your going to use (prefrably) a long sowrd anbd duel them.

Why such a high CON score? Thieves do not gain any Hp bonus beyond 16. I would make it 17, the extra point to be thrown away during the game.

And 15 INT? http://www.ironworksforum.com/ubb/noncgi/smiles/eek.gif I would prefer to make it 10, you will have a total of extra 6 points( plus 1 from CON).

Put 3 in Wis, to make it 10 and avoid penalties to your saving throws.

The last 3 put in STR, for better THACO and Damage, until you get a STR-enhancing item.

Try a Fighter/Assassin. Assassins get great bonuses as they go up in levels and their poison has gotten me out of a tough situation more than once. Plus, Mindflayers are easy as pie with these guys because of the backstab.
Put points into the stealth skills and aquire the Cloak of Non-Detection as well as the Invisibility rings and the Ring of Gaxx.
