Anyone know of the broken enchanted sword you sometimes find in Irenicus's Dungeon? Does it have any use?

I really don't get how it can be a bug though, I mean, aren't bugs just supposed to mess up the game in some way that makes parts of it unplayable? The Broken Sword just exists...

I guess it could be some sort of storyline thing, or even a reference to Lord of the Rings, lol!

Nah, it's just what it is, a broken weapon, nothing more and nothing less. Probably something one of those Duergar smiths was gonna fix when you so rudely interrupted them.

Erm, maybe it refers back to BG 1. Remember how some swords you had broke because of bad metal? [img]tongue.gif[/img]

it could be a reference to something, but then again, it could just be a broken weapon. Weapons do break every now and again....
They probably put it in to make the game feel more real
