Hi
If this is a stupid question, just tell me.
How do I move my current game to another pc? Is it possible?
I realy would like to be able to move the current game to the pc I am using at the time.

Well actually its not a stupid question but it may be possible (or not). But you sure can try or look for it in the instructions..Or you could try the Internet... (like your doing now). http://www.ironworksforum.com/ubb/no...es/biggrin.gif http://www.ironworksforum.com/ubb/no...es/biggrin.gif http://www.ironworksforum.com/ubb/no...es/biggrin.gif

well,i havent actually moved any BG games from pc to pc, but in general re-installing works better since messing with the registry is a pain. and also a major cause of death of windows. however, the save games can (usually) be moved.

in the directory bg2/save/ there are a number of sub-directorys, about 800 K in size. just move that to the new machine and rename the directory to give the right slot number.

i havent had any crashes myself when doing this but the Boy with no Brains occasionaly brings games over to show off some item i found weeks ago, and he sometimes gets crashes. i think its to do with the general decrepitude of his computer and lack of bothering to install patches.

hope this helps

It comes from the depths of your soul, you cannot fight it, to try is to prove it, it knows all, but is rarely spoken.
It is truth.

Most games will fit on a floppy disk (look in saved game directory)
and even if they don't you gold just email it to yourself and download it on a new computer....
