My friend installed BG2 and ToB, but with the minimal install....he went to reinstall it and now when we do the full install it gets to 94% it asks for CD 5....we tried the ToB cd but it still will not work.....any help?..thanks...

My little brother's computer had that problem. Try putting CD1 in and see if it takes it. If not you might just have a problem!

first do uninstall BG2 & ToB all your saved games will not be removed
then start install over from step one and try full install
the problem you ran into sounds like you tried to do a full install
on top of a minimal install and that will cause your program to go
crazy in fact I tried the sam thing and It not only messed up Baldur's SoA
but until I did the uninstall I wasn't able to play Ice Wind Dale,Torment
Bg1 & TotSC it just locked up every thing us

USE THE UNINSTALL THAT CAME WITH BG Because If you goto the add/remove program
file it will clear everything including all saved games

I HAVE THE ANSWER!!!! make sure all your cds are as clean as possible and keep trying lots. eventually it will work (also, if your cds are from 2 different volumes, like your friends cd 1 and 2 but your cd 3 and 4, it will not work)
