Even tho I don't have the stronghold yet, I have a couple questions about the paladin stronghold.

1) Whats the advantage of having a paladin stronghold?

2) Sometime ago when I was on a quest to obtain the stronghold, I met the fallen paladins, saved them slavers, then I "borrowed" a cup from that guy who owns the Order of the Radient Heart building, took it back to the fallen paladins, then Anarg (or whatever his name is) blew my cover and they wipe me out easily. How can I kill them without them killing me? http://www.ironworksforum.com/ubb/no...miles/conf.gif

first who do you have in your group? The paladin stronghold Quest is
alot easier if you have distroyed the cult of the Unseeing Eye because
while you are down in the sewers befor you get to the area where you
find the cult you will meet KELDORN FIRECAM a Paladin Inquisitor and
A member of the Radiant Heart, you are going to need him to join your
group and the extra experance Points you gain from this Quest to win
the Paladin Stronghold Quest.
The only way you can gain control and have the Paladin Stronghold as
yours to keep is your main charactor has to be a Paladin.
You ask "whats the advantage of having a Paladin stronghold?"
it is the stronghold Quest you have to take if your main charactor
is a Paladin. If you main charactor is a wizard or a thief or a ranger
you are working on the wrong quest because you will never be awarded this
stronghold even if you do beat the fallen Paladins.
The stronghold is a place you can stash your extra treasures, weapons,&
armor that when you come back to it you can pick up a paycheck and exchange
or drop off extra supplies so you have more room in you pack and it a free
and safe place to sleep.
I hope this helps a little!

1. As the CrimsonBlade said, you have to be a Paladin to get the stronghold.

2. The trigger for the quest is NOT the 'Anarg' quest. You must first defeat Firkragg the Red Dragon in the WindSpear hills - only then will you be offered the chance to become a Knight of the Radiant Heart. After killing the Dragon, speak to Lord WindSpear and he'll let you know how to become a Paladin.

3. When you are being 'tested' go IMMEDIATELY to where ever you are told to go.
There IS a time limit on each of the quests. If you stop to rest first etc, you will FAIL.

4. You will get (apart from extra XP) a very useful item on completion of the 'Tests'...

What skunk said about it being the Windspear hills quest is true, but you don't have to kill Fikragg, just rescue Windspear's daughter

Killing Firkraag is actually the last paladin quest you get given if you become a member
