Last week i posted a message stating my claim that Aerie is a useless irritating bint (or words to that effect) Having bought Throne of Bhaal the next day and deciding to play around with my party selection i realise i was partly wrong.
You see when i had used Aerie previously it was in a party with Anomen and a necromancer in it and little in the way of melee skills. (i forget who else was there)
In my Current game i have: Charlie, (ranger, main guy) *Spoiler*(very good fighter) Dierdre (monk) Don Carlo (sorceror) Jan Jansen and Aerie. In my new party with huge amounts of melee expertise to protect the casters Aerie can be very effective in her almost ideal role of casting breach and remove magic every 3 seconds (like you need to in TOB) and letting my sorceror get on with his nasty power word and Abi Dalzim type antics. Also her clerical skills go ok seeing as i replaced Jaheria with her (who needs half someones exp going to fighting when you've got monks etc?)
Therefore i would state an apology to the Aerie temple catamites (look it up) but unfortunately my main cause of discourse with them still stands. She is soooo annoying an unnatractrive. Usefull though.

Hmm. What an utterly pointless post. Oh well.

Well, the portraits of the NPC's are a little contorted.. Take a look at Jaheira..

Ok Lets get this straight once and for all,Jaheiras portrait looks contorted (whatever that means) when you create a female character and browse through portraits and see her,but in the game when you click on that head icon to see the character attributes you see that Jaheiras portrait is actually pretty ,Not "contorted" its only contorted when you browse portraits when your creating a character like I said. Ok this probably doesnt make sense but if you see Jaheiras portrait on a smaller size it look ALOT better,just give her a chance, At least she doesnt look like A***E.

Jaheira's portrait looks as bad as the other female protraits! IMHO she looks more like a "biker chick" and could use a make-over. I am simply disappointed with the portraits that shipped with BGII.
