Ive had IEEP for quite some time now and i made quite a few cool items and spells with it (thanks teamBG), but now whenever i use it none of the effects etc. that i program in actually work in game. For instance i made a sword that was supposed to do 1D10+5, grant 50% Magic resistance, and remove spell protections when it hit, but all it did was the basic damage.
btw, i have got the latest version.
Any ideas?

i cant help u but when someone answers you maybe they can help me too.
Whenever i change anything in the "identified and unidentified" place,
New item or loaded when i try and save it has an error message saying
"There has been an error in the program, The specific information of this error is as follows-
Permission denied at Dialog_Write.12.

then when you press OK it come up with another saying

There was an error insaving text information- save aborted and item not saved.

can any one help??

who wants to walk you through the basics of such a simple program (it could NOT be dumbed down anymore) or expend the time simply re-reading the program's faq to you?

1. retrace your steps
2. change an already existing item and see if that works
3. read the faq/help/readme
4. search/read the forums at teambg
