The Hilt of the Vorpal Sword is with Saemon. When you are in spellhold, and when you meet up with him, you should agree to meet up with him and just don't kill him. Then, he will give you the hilt, and some Githyankis there to see ya and then bam! The ship will drown and you are in Sahuagin City! Anyway, the blade will be with one of the Githyankis in your encounter with them in Athkatla. I think it is always the Promenade (CHAPTER 6)

Holy Avenger is with Firkraag.
