Does anyone know what causes alot of the npc's to not engage in a dialogue with your players?
I'm trying to get the smith in the prom district to talk to me to upgrade my horn. I've only been able to do it once. For the most part, with other npcs who won't talk to me, I check the time clock and sleep to then return. Seems that 0 is 12am and 12 on the clock is 12 pm. Is this right? I have heard that some merchants/npcs will talk to you at night while others do so at day. Can someone better explain it or simply just tell me what time I need to talk to the smith? I've tried sleeping and returning to the smith but it seems the cycle is all wrong. I will try to use travelling soon to create another time cycle in which I can try the smith again. Right now I approach him at 17 hours into the day and have waited til 20 hours with nothing. If I sleep and return I'm afraid that I'm going to miss that open window in which he is open for business. Oh and exactly what time would it be when you get the scene where it becomes daybreak. I seem to have remembered him talking after that....not sure though. Any help is welcomed and thanks. |
I havent heard anything about time being a factor in talking to the horn guy. I seem to recall talking to him a couple times, say and night, (although i still dont have the damn horm).
I sound like you may need to patch your game. There is a known issue like this that appears sometimes. |
