OK, so I'm going through the Drow city for the third time. First two times I went through I talked to this mage outside of Deirex's tower and he says "You're not a wizard I don't want to talk to you" (OK, I'm paraphrasing).
This time round I am indeed a bad-ass mage, so I went up to him expecting a sub-plot quest or something and all he says is "Hey you should join up with the Tower not House Despana". Huh? Am I missing something here? Can anyone shed some light on this? ------------------ Fear? I know not the meaning of the word. And you can keep that dictionary away from me! |
You have to complete some quests for Phaere first, and then a guy will sell you a magic rope than go there and show this undead how to die http://www.ironworksforum.com/ubb/no...iles/smile.gif

Hmmm: first couple of times I went through I did that and being a mage seemed to make no difference to that.
Its actually the mage outside of Deirex's tower I'm interested in. ------------------ Fear? I know not the meaning of the word. And you can keep that dictionary away from me! |
Don't forget that if an NPC won't talk to your protagonist, then try talking to them with a different member of your party (in this case, your mage).
Den of the Seven vales barkeeper is a good example. Viconia - Barkeep won't serve her. Male party member - will deal with him but is downright rude. Female party member - Barkeep is oh soooooo sweet and polite... Charisma also change the reactions of NPC's - sometimes a high Charisma actually gets you less help than a low one...and vica versa. |
