Can anyone tell me who that Habib guy who throws his "mighty schimitar" at me I found him after that once at a temple but wheres all the places i can find him. and whats his prupose

This guy confussed me as well does anyone know whether there is a quest behind the guy because I have met him twice now

1st time in the docks district when he throws his mighty scimitar at your head

2nd time in the Temple of Ilmater in waukeens prominade when he throws a bag of gold at you if you talk to the priest.

Well, I don't know anything about that supposedly 'familiar name', but I do know the story behind Habib.

Back in the day, when the game was still in the development-stage, they held a character-contest. Fans could submit characters, and a few who would win would make a cameo-appearance in the game. Habib was one of these, a clumsy thief who got caught every single time he attempted to pickpocket someone. To get away, he would throw his scimitar at his mark's head. After this, he would always get a guilty conscience, and would tithe at a temple, but being the coward he is, he was afraid to enter the temple, so he would toss some coins in the general direction of the tithing bowl, more often than not hitting some innocent bystander.

Oh wait, that familiar name, are you talking about Khalid? What's Habib's full name again? Habib Khalid Achmed something or other yes?

That doesn't have anything to do with the other Khalid though.
