Hello Everyone. I've passed the first portal thanks to you guys. I am now in the Promenade . Problem is on the second level there ws a hallway that was full of traps. There were keys you would insert on a pedestal of some sort & they give you a wand. I missed a wand. Is this wand necessary to finish the game?

Also on the 3rd level Imoen gets caught using magic. I don't know if I just have bad luck or what but I couldn't seem to use IMOEN for casting spells as a mage on t he dungeons. Can someone tell me what's happening? Jaheira I used to cast a lot of druid/cleric spells & was functioning great. Unfortunately I never seem to pickup druid scrolls for her to memorize. Can anyone tell me what's happening? I've also picked up a lot of scrolls but none of them had been written in the spell book. How do you know if the scroll picked up is a mage or cleric/druid scroll? Really confusing!

With imoen you wouldnt be able to cast any spells if u r wearing any armour, so that might be ur problem there and with the scrolls, any scroll that u find will be a mage scroll as you dont find druid and cleric scrolls, you just get new spells when u level up, and oh yeah that wand isnt too important but u would do a lot better if u got it, but not havin it wont stop u finnishing the game

Nope, the wand isn't necessary to finish the game. You'd just get some extra items ... One of them is a ring I think.

Problems with Imoen... Are you sure you had her memorise some spells? And you should also remember that she can't cast spells when she's wearing armour.

Druids learn spells as they progress in levels (I think). That means they can't learn spells from scrolls. You might find some scrolls for druids (usually 'Heal wounds' scrolls), but you won't be able to learn them - just cast them.

One more thing about scrolls... When you pick up scrolls read them and 'write' them down. If you do that they should be in your spell book.

If none of this help, then I don't know what's wrong.

Oh, and if you have problems with the game, it is useful to play the Tutorial. And the manual helps a lot too. :D
