Hey pplz!

I am having trouble with my Ranger/Cleric multiclass. He is a powerful chracter and all, but the one thing that is bothering me is his hit-points.
I took him all the way into ToB and every time he has leveled up, whether it be his cleric or ranger class, he has only every time gained 1 hitpoint oer level!
I dont understand why.
He has 18 constitution and still this has happened.
Can anyone shed some light on this?
Thanks!

This probably happening becoz you are pretty high level.
When you reach a certain level you no longer get the big hp bonuses when you level-up. You only get like 1 or 3 hp's each level-up depending on your class.
So you shouldn't worry, it's normal.

Throughout the whole game my Ranger/Cleric has only been gaining 1 hitpoint per level. Even at the start of the game. He has contimued to do so even in ToB.
I am curious as to why this occurs because in my previous games this has never occured.

There may be a different hp sisytem for multiclass, rangers got 3, cleric got 2. My aerie also got 1 but her con is 9. Jaheira is also multiclass but she gains lot. I think you gain 1 hp after 10th levle (Multiclass)

Remember with a multiclass character your hp are divided by # of classes so you would only recieve 1/2 hp for gaining a level in a class and after 9th lvl you gain only a fixed amount, so when you gain a lvl in cleric you recieve 1 hp and when you gain a level in fighter you get 1 or 2 cant remember exactly if it rounds up or down.
