Recently I had Viconia use her high level "summon woodland animals" spell in the underdark and she summoned 2 winter wolves. These guys rock! They have really cool sound effects (their roars are louder than dragons!) and they have a breath weapon of frost! They were spitting their frosty breath at some drow and each time the breaths hit they did minimum 10 damage each! Basically, they sit at the back and just roar and breath on stuff without taking any damage. Without a doubt the best summoned creatures that I have ever used! I hope that I get them again, because ever since Viconia has only summoned giant bears instead.

All I ever got with Jaheira and Aerie was wolves(regular, Ogres, and hobgoblins http://www.ironworksforum.com/ubb/no...iles/frown.gif

The ogres aren't too bad, they have pretty good hps and do a lot of damage but the wolves and hobgoblins suck!

Pit fiends are ok, but I find that they fireball my party too much and that they seem to suck at melee. Winter wolves all the way!

Greater Elemental Summonig is also Cool.

Unfortunately I won't be getting TOB until next year http://www.ironworksforum.com/ubb/no...iles/frown.gif so I have never seen demon princes, planetars, etc.

if we talk ToB, Dark Devas are awesome.

Planetars are obviously the most powerful summoned creatures (just check out all the spells the start with!), but I've been unable to summon more than one of them, so they are slightly less effective then using greater elemental summoning to summon 5 very powerful elementals.

i agree, i think planeteers are the best ( GO PLANET) ha HA, couldnt resist. they have some cool spells, and do a good amount of damage, just dont fireball if they are within the blast radius. of course, alot of greater elementals that are hasted are pretty kick ass too, ha HA.
