After a few reloads, I solo'd the "Guarded compound" with an Eleventh (11) level elven ranger. Hooraaahh!.

Granted, I was on Core... but still! Me so proud o' me! lol

I feel I should comment that I am not gloating, simply pleased that I'd overcome supremely distressing odds. Having fought this 5 on 1 battle with a jerky glabrezu breathing down my neck, I conclude that Koshi is by far the most difficult foe of the bunch.
