Has anyone tried to consume a potion of insight before levelling up a cleric? I can't recall exactly, but doesn't wisdom increase the available(learned) spells to use in his arsenal when levelling? It may just increase the spells you are able to memorize, which doesn't help much considering you have to sleep to memorize them and the potion wears off by then. I guess it still increases your saving throws though, right?

I have never tried this but I think # of spells you can have memorized is calculated in real time not when you level up. so as long as your wisdowm is high you can memorize more but as soon as it goes down you lose the extra spells.

But maybe you can gain extra HP's if u use potion of fortifude. You know 18 Con gives you additional HP.

I have tried in BG1, and when potion wears off you loose your extra HP.
