the mephit on the right, but that golem on the left is killing me every time. I know whats in the chests, and I know I need to get the stuff, right? I tried making Jan inveisible, but the second he opens something, the golem gets him. http://www.ironworksforum.com/ubb/no...iles/frown.gif HELP!

Just charge in there with your tanks, blunt weapons blazing. The golem is only clay, so he'll go down quickly enough.

Well, clay golems aren't that easy, but make sure your fighter has a mace, hammer, club...whatever because blunt weapons are all that's going to kill that golem.

Since you haven't actually got the key, you can go back outside and get korgon for that golem if you wish...http://www.ironworksforum.com/ubb/no...iles/smile.gif He's a great golem killer! You might want to think about using him for that particular quest anyways. Goodluck.

I was using swords(I'm a Kensai) but I'll have Minsc use a mace next time.
What about spells? (Magic Missile, Acid Arrow, etc.)

Nada on the spells, they have high magic resistance, just pound them...it's so much more satisfying.

I know this isnt much help but the golem was beating the hell out of my team so I used my team as bait and ran around with the golem chasing them while I stealthed Yoshi and had him sneak to the chest and steal the items then proceeded to run away ( heroicaly of course).

cloudkill does nice work on golems. dunno why but it does
