my thief has a pickpocket of 175 and ive failed over and over when i try to steal the blade of roses from him....can someone help?

I think pickpocket has to be over 200 to steal from him. Down some potions of Master Thievery (you can pick up a lot from Roger the Fence in the Temple Sewers) and go for it. http://www.ironworksforum.com/ubb/no...iles/smile.gif

It is very, very hard. In fact, I think it's impossible to steal off him. Gorch, the storekeep at Mae'vars Guild in the Docks is very easy to steal from, so try him if you want some easy pickings. As for the Blade of Roses, it's only about 6000 gp, you should have that saved up in no time.

Actually, I stole Bernard blind, but had to keep reloading when he caught me. Just quicksave after each successful filching, and you'll be fine. I did it with pickpockets at 185%. You just have to be patient (and not afraid or reloading repeatedly). Another easy mark (other than Gorch; what makes him nice is the ability to steal from him, then sell back what you just stole) is the scroll merchant in Waukeen's Promenade. hey thanks everyone..i actually managed to steal after reloaded repeatedly. yeah i know it's only 6,000..but i wanted to steal it http://www.ironworksforum.com/ubb/no...iles/smile.gif. just one of those things that bugs you and i wasn't going to give into that fat...umm guy. but thanks i just also wanted to say that this forum is the best everybody is great.
