OK, simple question..should I play a blade or skald in my "evil" party..will also consist of:

Edwin
Korgan
Vic
Jan
(others,for in party fights and quests)

I would recomend getting another tank as well and play as a skald.
Blades are good but not exellent fighters.
It really depends on what kind of character you want to play.A blade is more like a mini fighter while the skald sits in the back rows singing but can fight if need be

If you are intending to continue on to ToB, Blades beat Skalds hands down. If however, you only have SoA, and you do not intend to use your Bard for any melee fighting, then choose the Skald.

I prefer Blades, and they would seem to fit in an evil party better. A Jester would also be appropriate. After all, Skalds are renowned for inspiring courage, and what evil party is subject to such inspiration? They act from baser motives.
