ok the post regarding "fallen", we'll i think i'm almost there but not yet. How do i get my reputation points back up? I fell into some situations where i was attacked and then i got hit with a reduction in rep. points. I think it started when i was testing my new thief on a locked box in the FRIENDLY ARM ( I can't show myself in there anymore -- damn!). I also helped a few people after that but i then got attacked by Laual. Up to this point i do not know how my points were reduced (kept to the quests at hand). then Laual spoke to me an called me a rogue. she then attacked me. it is at this point that i started to worry about my party stability. i then entered Nashkel and was attacked by some (can't really say they were town folk) people who called me murder? huh? then a guard attacked. So to keep my rep. damage at bay i ran.

HELLLP? what can i do next? and if a char. editor it to be used, can you edit your reputation point?

You can always give money at a temple . . .

That is right, aside from doing "good" quests, paying money at the temple is another way to build rep. points. Though in your status, it sounds like you may have trouble making enough money to do much good. I would personally suggest you do a cheat for some money, enough to get your status into a comfortable position. You will certainly enjoy your game much more with higher rep. points. I believe the back part of the instrucion manual lists the point system.

i will ........add some gold to the coffer 'wink' and go to the nearest temple and donate till i'm back in the good books. still strange how i lost rep. points. As for the friendly arm, i do not include that in my travels anymore. When i was playing IWD, these points never came into play.

Oh well back to the game!!!!

the donations worked! I am now popular. My reputation points had fallen down to 3 from 12. The great thing was I went to the samll village where i had to fight the beetles things and selling their hide fetched 500gp a pop. So i was able to fund my rep points by killing those bugs. I also managed to pick up a better fighter (actually it is the palidin in training guy). Kalhid was getting onmy nerves. so now I am going to either candlekeep or the bandit camp next.
