Ohh My Godd!! I cant believe it!! Who distributed these proficiency skills to this slots! He must be idiot!
Look!! Two-handed sword ++ Mace ++ Bow ++ Two weapon style ++ Yes he's got two weapon style but he uses a two handed sword so its useless he should use TWO-HANDED WEAPON FIGHTING STYLE I would give him longsword/morningstar but he doesnt have these proficiencies only stupid maces http://www.ironworksforum.com/ubb/no...iles/frown.gif whatever, my fighter is GM in two-handed sword so I want MƯnsc to go on two weapon style but he's got only mace http://www.ironworksforum.com/ubb/no...iles/frown.gif I think mace is useless 1d6 and there isnt any cool maces in game as I know? But as I heard theres lots of one-handed long swords and flails/morning stars in game? I cant decide.. He's level 9 now and he will increase one of this slots or add a new slot I got 3 alternative *to increase two weapon style: so the penalty for off-hand will drop to -2 but he'll be able to fight with mace only *to add to LONGSWORD: And I'Ll be able to wield a cool magic long sword in other hand *axe: too heavy for a ranger? *Flail: why not flails morningstars rocks! Or I can give flail to my cleric Anomen but he doesnt have a proficiency on flails. In which level cleric choose a new proficiency? |
Notes:
Rangers get an automatic 2 stars in Dual-wield, aka Two Weapon Style. Minsc is a Ranger. ------------------ If not a Sorcerer, then a Paladin. http://www.gifs.net/animate/dflysb2.gif ------------------------- Baldur's Gate Item Mart |
I know. But a speciliazition in longsword or flail would be great. If u were me which u would choose? A 3rd slot in two weapon stlye or flail or lonsword? Minsc players?

For roleplay purpose, I usually make Minsc Dual-wield Flails. I dunno why, it just seems to fit him perfectly.
*shrug* I guess the idea of him whirling Spiked Balls of steel for fun is at the same time funny, and horrifying. Especially if he laughs while doing it. ------------------ If not a Sorcerer, then a Paladin. http://www.gifs.net/animate/dflysb2.gif ------------------------- Baldur's Gate Item Mart |
Also...wait until you get the Mace of Disruption in Chapter 3.
SPOILER > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > Treat it with Illithium (via Cromwell) and get the Mace of Disruption +2...major vampire slayer and makes you immune to level drain. Hellooooo vampires! Give it to Minsc and watch him go to town on them (remember he has Vampire racial enemy.) ------------------ http://www.wizardrealm.com/images/saz.gif |

What the heck is Illithium and where can I get some? |
Illithium is a precious metal. You will be able to get some when you are assigned the quest "get Sir Sarles to build a statue for some temple". You HAVE to upgrade the mace BEFORE you talk to sir sarles again, or he will take the illithium and you won't be able to upgrade the mace.

Its a VERY special metal... you have to start with the Unseeing Eye quest from the Temple district and the rest unfolds from there. |
