I was just wondering..I bought ToB yesterday and installed it. Now the Watchers Keep is available on my map. Should I play SoA first ( and kill Irenicus first) or can I already go to watchers keep to kick some undead ass ????? Thanks in advance

Watcher's keep can ba accessed before killing Irenicus, it'
s up to you wether you want to go there or wait untill you kill Irenicus. |
I've been too nervous to try it yet. At what Clvl should you be before you enter there. I don't expect a cake walk, but is it suicide at, say level 12-13?

I'd suggest waiting until just after you come out of the underdark. I completed most of the quests up until then and tried the keep but still found it too hard!

It's VERY tough, but you can also do it one level at a time. I wouldn't even try before the underdark, unless you are a grade a masochist.

Then, when you get to ToB, do it again. WK is accessible from both games, but despite ToB being an expansion, the new areas are considered to be another game (this is why you cannot return to the SoA areas after going to ToB). Thus, you can do WK a second time (and find lots of new items in there, to boot!). ------------------ http://www.tc.umn.edu/~monax002/gh/head.jpg Death is only the beginning... |
