I've been everywhere on level 1. I've gotten the Genie his other bottle.

But I can't find the portal key to get through the portal.

I've looked in all the chests in the Mistress' bedroom, including, the one right by the bed.

Where is it?

Which mistress' room are you talking about- the one right before the portal, or the concealed one below the 3 dryads...

The key is concealed in the second of the two I mentioned. Look carefully.

The key for the portal to the next level is in the room of Irenicus beloved one (once he was in love ????????????!!!!!!! http://www.ironworksforum.com/ubb/no...les/tongue.gif) The key for the portal to the dimension were the genie resides is in Irenicus his room, next to his bed...if you can't find it this way...export your character and restart the game, it could be a bug...hope it helps

Just search closely the garden under Irenicus's room. You can't miss it.

the mephit room? send half your party to wipe out the generators...
