I know a lot of ppl have been asking about strongholds and if u can get
two of them if u char is dualclassed. And that is exactly my question.

Can't u just get the fighter stronghold when ur still a fighter and later on,
when ur a mage, get the mage stronghold??

Or is that to simple an idea?? Probably has something to do with global variables to, right?

I have heared of someone doing this, I think the said they started as a fighter, told Naida they think about it or something when she offered them the Keep, then dual classed into a mage and took the Sphere and accpted her offer afterwards but I not sure if it is true. Other then this I don't think it is possible unless you reset the global variables for it.

I don't have personal experience in this area, but this seems logical: If you take the stronghold for your first class, then the game registers that you already have a stronghold, you can only have one, so thats it, its over. However, if you tell the first person you will think about it, then the game does not record that you have a stronghold, but it does record that that person is waiting for a reply. Move on to the second stronghold, when you try to get it the game searches and finds that you don't have a stronghold, thus you can take this one since it is one of your classes. Now the game registers that you have a stronghold, but since the designers never thought to put in a line for the first stronghold character like "sorry you already have another base now, I retract my offer", if they are waiting for your reply, you can always go back and say yes, earning you a second stronghold. I am pretty sure that is how the game thinks, though I could be dead wrong, but it just seems logical to me. http://www.ironworksforum.com/ubb/no...miles/wink.gif

ok, just while were on the subject of strongholds, I was wondering which stronghold the monk gets (yes I know how to get each of the strongholds). I have a feeling its the same as the thiefs one, but this sorta doesn't fit in whith the whole idea of a Monk, so, has anyone got the monks stronghold and if so, what is it?

If you have a fighter/mage, you can get both strongholds. You have to be sure and do the mage stronghold first though. Then do the fighters.

Do u have to do what Gabe says? Or can u accept both of them right away?

Oh yeah Demus, the Monk gets the same stronghold as a fighter (the keep).
