What am I suposed to do with that symbol of amnutour (forgot how to spell it) that you find in 3 peices in the temple ruins?

Once used to open the door to the next chamber with the you-know-what-in, i think it is usless.

They get your through the place. Without them you will proceed no further in the ruins/quest.
