I have beaten the game a few times but I am not sure even what a keep is good for or how to get one. I finished all of the quests with my Palidan for the radiant heart, does that mean I have a keep?

Man.. wouldn't know about a Paladin. I remember reading something about the Radiant Heart building being you keep, but i think that's not right. If you're a mage, the Planar Sphere will be your keep, and as a fighter (which a paladin is) the De'Arnise Hold will become your keep. That's the part i know for sure..
