Just a quick question, one that has been bothering everytime I play BGII. I get this shaft, from the description it says that it's a halberd shaft and Cromner (the dwarf at the docks) tells me to look for the blade. Problem is I have been wandering everywhere looking for it and to no avail. Where exactly IS this stupid blade? Do I have to put an ad in the Faerun Yellow Pages or what?

Also, why exactly is it that everyone dislikes Jaheira so much? Never quite understood.

You should post your Jaheira comment in the multiple Jaheira threads out there to get a better answer. As far as the blade goes, I've seen it and hold it but don't remember where, might have been the Underdark, sorry that I can't be more specific.

Shaft : Can be found on the body of the Demon in the Planar Prison. This is part of Haer Dalis's quest.

Blade : This one's tricky. You can get it by accepting the Sahuagin King's offer (killing the Rebel Prince). Don't accept it, and you will never get the blade; the blade can be found on the body of the Rebel Prince, and ONLY if you accept the King's task.
