Alright, I am determined to transition from the end of SoA to ToB, and not just start ToB, and I am finally nearing the end of SoA again, but now I have just installed the new full version ToB patch which, as it says, may not be "retroactive". Here is my question: I had problems with the Jaheira romance when I played through SoA the first time, which the SoA patchs didn't really fix. (probably because they were not retroactive either), but I uninstalled them and SoA, and then installed SoA and ToB together, without the SoA patch. Now, since apparently my copy of SoA has this bug, and ToB doesn't seem to fix it, will the ToB patch fix it in my saved games since I haven't actually encountered the problem yet, I am just anticipating it, or will I have to start all over again to fix the bug. If the answer is the latter, then could someone tell me how to use Cluaconsole commands, step by step, and how to spawn Dermin, the Jaheira tutor guy, each time he appears, since that was the problem maybe I can fix it that way. Thanks in advance for answering any of these questions. http://www.ironworksforum.com/ubb/no...miles/wink.gif

I've yet to have the pleasure of playing with the patches but I can help a little with the console bit.

goto the bg2 directory find the notepad file that sez "baldur"
there should be a heading that sez (program options) and then a bunch of commands that say blahblahtext=1 and such. Add the line Debug Mode=1 save exit run BG2.
Hit ctrl+space the console pops up
enter CLUAConsole:CreateCreature("xxxxx") where xxxx=name of creature.
this works for spawning monsters but will it work for npcs I don't know.
I hope this helps somehow.
