Staff of the magi is in the twisted rune encounter-there is a door on the bottom right hand side of the screen facing the water you need a rogue stone to enter and it's a very hard fight-there are lots of posts about how to do it though.

Gauntlets of cruching are given to you by the Sahuguin King if you complete his mission

Girdle of Stone giant strengtyh is in the elven city in Demins house

and the gorgon plate (it isn't a drow item is found on the matron mother in the under dark.

Can you get the gauntlets of crushing if you work for the Sahuagin prince instead? I know you can still get the Wave shaft by stealing it from him.

Gauntlets of Ogre Power are in the Planar Sphere.

I forget where the hammer is.

i pussed out on the mind flayer part...i did the first fight with the humans and then went through the next two set of doors invis with some extra pots, took the stuff from the container and chugged another pot just as the umber hulk was confusing me. I got killed by that set of like 6 mind flayers and the umber hulk to bother doin it striaght
