Is there anyway to up someones stats so that they can dual-class to another class. I'm useing Yoshimo and I wanted him to dual to a mage, but his stats are too low. Can I up these?

To answer your question - yes, you can boost his stats using a potion of genius, for example, but I don´t know if dualling is possible then.

You can also use shadowkeeper, a downloadable tool, to modify his stats.

So there is no way w/o cheating to up his stats for ever?

Raising a chars stats in D&D is very rare(unless you have a very libral DM in P&P gaming). If you plan on duel classing a char then you need to pre-plan it at creation. This of course doesn't help with NPC's.

You can use the console cheat to get the skill tomes but the wis and cha books don't work. ("Book#") #=3-9 I believe. But why mess with Yoshimo at all just get Imoen back.

2 ways:
1) Very rare magical tomes, none of which appear in SoA
2) Very reare magical artifacts and devices, none of which appear in SoA

The books all appear in BG, but you can't keep your BG items when starting a single player SoA game.
There is a machine in ToB which will up stats, and I think if you install ToB, that you can go to it at any time.

But Yoshimo is the absolute last character you should do this for, even if it were possible. Switch, instead, to adventuring with a useful character, such as Jan.
