Ok this guy is really tough! He keeps wipping my whole party's butt's! How can I kill him when he freezes everyone or makes the run away like chickens? Thank for your help!

I guess you're talking about the demon you have to kill for the Svirfel-dwarven guys?? Let me think. Can't really remember how i killed him. Oh right. I placed all of the party members seperated from each other (my party: Link (me), Aerie, Keldorn, Minsc, Jaheira, Imoen). Aerie and Imoen north of the gap, Minsc with two summoned Fire Elementals (summoned by Jaheira) south of the gap. Jaheira, Link and Keldorn to the right. Balor can only stun to one side, and usually that's to the south. If he comes forth, Minsc might be stunned, and the Fire Elementals as well. Be prepared for this, so place on of the Fire Elementals in front of Minsc. Then hack and slash at him while he's bashing that Fire Elemental. In the meanwhile: use your mages to cast Magic Missile (or Lower Resistance first, of course) and Bolt of Glory (veeeeery effective against such creatures!!!). Good luck!

move your entire party to the far left behind the pit over by the ladder. The demon can't fit over there. Cast resist fear on party (not really necessary if he can't get you) Have members that have reach weapons like 2-hand swords, halberds, or spears (I think they need to be at least +2 or +3, don't remember, For instance, Minsc with the Lilarcor) stand where the demon can't touch you and just whack away. If you want, have your mages cast reduce magic and offensive spells, but it's not necessary. This way you won't lose 1 hit point.

If you're going to brawl with him resist fear is a must! You should have your main character in free action too. The arbanes sword or the spell free action will do this. He has high magic resistance, and if you're using a good shield, and have decent armor. He shouldn't hit you too often. What level are you?
