I can't get through the secret door that leads into the mind flayer
lair in the sewers under the temple district. Does anyone know how
you enter? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

To get there you need a special key named Sewer key that can be obtained in WindspearHills dungeon. If I remember correctly, Tazok holds this key.
