Does the archer get all of his bonuses if s/he uses a crossbow? I hope it dosen't jsut effect short and longbows.

IIRC the kit description says missile weapons, which would include crossbows.

you have to put slots into crossbow proficiency (its worth it though, 'cos you can get some kickass crossbows...)
