Is Imoen or any of the other NPCs required to finish the game? I'm going to play on MP and load my own party.

I've got the patch, any problems to watch out for post-patch?

Imoen is *not* required. Of course, if you're good, you'd probably feel really, really guilty for leaving your half-sister behind in Spellhold. ;)

Well, she does go to the copper coronet from spellhold, if you don't take her along with you. No worries, she's a surviver =p

LOL, dammit. And to think I was hoping not to see that information....ahhh. Oh well. I figured she coulda been a half sister but wasn't sure. NOW I KNOW. argh..... oh well, nm that now, I'm wondering how the hell do ya get more rep points. I'm at 18 and going everywhere for that last damned one for Anomen to see if he turns into a knight.

tell me then... does he? If I've found out some of the end info, I now need closure on this Anomen thingy. i donated handsomely thru ClUA as a joke to see how much it would cost for a rep point. Dang.... got two that way and two rep points from quests. But if anomen sucks later on i'll just keep nalia. i don't know if she digs half orcs but my PeeWee sure has taken a likin to her. Hrm, that doesn't sound too good.

If im not mistaking you must do the Anomen family quest before you can be a knight, don´t know really.

And Imoen is a looser if i can say my view, She is a Mage/Thief and you can have so much better. Edwin is a awesome Mage :D and you have Jan as a thief.

I'll keep Imoen, she is my sister (and I am playing the same character as I did in BG, although I never actually finished BG). I may keep Minsc. At first I was annoyed, now I seem to want to hear "go for the eyes Boo!". With my main a fighter, Imoen, and Minsc; the rest of the party will be a priest of Helm, avenger druid, and mage.

Well then u should keep Imoen because she is the only Thief in the party. :D

No NPC is required to finish the game because you can do it solo, but it is hard. Some of the NPC chats can be interresting, so if your party is good, then bring her along. It could get interresting in ToB!

Easy way to get those pesky rep points above 18... go get Vic, when she joins your party you lose 2 rep... so you will be at 16... go to the church and donate back up to 18... then kick her out of your party and you get 2 rep back...
Havent tried it, but it should work
