I'm in chapter 6, trying to crank Bodhi with the stakes that Elhan gave me, but the icon over the coffins for Bodhi and for her friends upstairs never changes. I used stakes successfully in an earlier chapter, but now I want the lantern. Is this some sort of glitch? Plus, Driz'zt seems to have disappeared.
Any thoughts?

doesn't matter if drizzt disappears. he's basically useless, and the npcs are buggy.
as for staking them, you have stakes, and have been unable to stake any vampires in bohdi's lair? there should be 3 coffins to stake on the first floor, and bohdi's coffin in the basement. you also may have to use the holy water on the blood pools first, possibly.

Thanks for the quick reply, although I'm afraid it isn't sufficient. I have used the vials of holy water in the pools, and I've rolled the pointer endlessly over the coffins on the first floor (the three in the same room). Umm, I dunno what is up with it, I'm going to try again starting with the fake egg/matron eating ceremony. Wish me luck.

Ok, I worked my way back to Bodhi's lair and this time it is working just fine.

Sometimes only one of the three on the first floor coffins is buggy, I can usually never stake the last of the three first floor coffins.

true, i had a problem staking the middle coffin on the first floor, it took quite a while for the 'sword' icon to appear over it. Glitchy...
