I must be blind. After getting the light gem from Goldanger Blackenrock, he told me to enlist the help of Adolon?. He said that I could find her at the base of the Great Staircase. I've been all over the underdark including the beholders lairs and the Kuo-toa temple and nursery and can't find it. Someone please help!!

Look closer at NE corner of the Underdark map. There is an entrance to the DrowCity there, right? Investigate this area more carefully - not far from DrowEntrance there is a way leading to another location - Adalon's lair.
Basically, just search NE corner of the map.

I found it. I had been to the bridge many times but never crossed it. When the drow party materializes on it, I thought that this was the entrance to the Drow City. I stopped and looked elsewhere.
