how the heck do you kill these things? I am at the d'arnise hold and i cant kill them! please help

Clay Golems you need +1 or better Blunt weapons, as for Iron golems, I dunno - I always just beat the crap out them the ol fashioned way.

Iron Golems are also pretty much immune to missle weapons, except for:

Sling of Everard
Short Bow of Gesen
Tansheron's Bow

and Melf's Minute Meteors (third level mage spell)

You can get them stuck in a doorway and nail them with any of these.
