The individual who assigned me the Trademeet quest is no longer in the Copper Coronet, and I have no note of where to find him after I accepted the quest. I searched all of Trademeet as well and am at a brick wall with this one!

I cant remember where I picked up the Trademeet quest... but I AM sure it doesnt matter...just go do it.... thas where you will pick up the X points... Go to Trademeet... talk to the Mayor or whatever it is... and pick up Cernd from the basement... then have lots of fun.....

Copper corenette??? I picked up the quest from a bloke in the gate district, turned him down at first and then went back later when i wanted something to do and he was still stood there

It's the guy in the "Gates", he gives you the cue to start the Trademeet quest. Alternatively, having Mazzy on your team gives you the quest sooner or later.
